How to Upload Etsy Purchase Data

Overview

One of the most important metrics to track for advertising is your purchases. Many of your advertising campaigns are going to be optimized for conversions, so having the most up to date information is critical. Unfortunately, the only way for IndiePixel to know when a purchase is made (for now...) is by manually uploading your stores order. Conveniently, Etsy makes it easy to download this data as a simple spreadsheet that IndiePixel can analyze. Upload Flow

Once the purchases are in, IndiePixel will automatically analyze purchases and correlate them with your traffic data. 1. How often should I upload purchases?
   Ideally you should be uploading purchases as quickly as possible. However, we know doing it everyday could be a burden, so try to upload at least within 3 days of a purchase.

2. How often are purchases being tracked?
   Due to the timing of Google Analytics sending us traffic data, we are only able to analyze the purchases 1 day ago and earlier. Traffic data is only sent once a day from Google analytics, therefore we can only try and correlate the traffic the next day. Every day at 6pm EST all the purchases from the day before are analyzed and sent out to your marketing platforms.
